So far, I have successfully gotten the remote to pair with the device. Once both the remote and the servo have been powered, the two will automatically sync through bluetooth. The user can use the LIPO battery powered remote to increase or decrease the angle of the mic clip by +- 5°. The servo is powered by a 1000 mAh battery that will attach further down the mic stand. I’ve also gotten a Mac application running.
All of the things left to accomplish are fabrication related. I need one custom part to be made to help guide the axle of the servo (attached below). I also need a simple box for the remote and the servo. I also need to solder the components to perfboard. Lastly, I need to attach the box containing the servo controller to the clip. If I have time, I would like to make it such that a user can control the clip from a computer as well as from the remote, and possibly even with a phone.
